Handmade Chocolates
My amazing sister Ashley happens to be a pastry chef. She and some friends made these delicious and beautiful chocolates as a favor for my wedding. We then packaged them all up. Below is the program I designed.
Escort Tags
I wanted to do a key board for our escort tags. I printed out tags I designed and then my husband and bridesmaids helped to tea stain them and attach them to keys. We found interesting looking corkboards and attached three of them together. We added a sign saying "Find the Key to your Seat."
Tablescape
I spent a long time coming up with the table scape. We wanted a rustic but vintage vibe. Our main color was a plum purple, but we were also incorporating navy and olive into the mix. My brother-in-law helped us cut slabs of wood for the center. I found cute votive lanterns. I created the chalkboard table numbers out of chalkboard easels I found at Michael's. The green bottles were half bought green, the other half were found at thrift stores and painted green. We found plum chargers to enhance the color. Asked for navy napkins after my sister-in-law found cute green glass napkin rings that tied it all together.
Aisle Signs
Our nephews carried these signs down the aisle. Very easily made using pain and wooden signs found at Michael's.
Sweetheart Table
I found cute blackboard signs and wrote out Mr & Mrs. Then came across the Marquee & which I loved. Made for a very cute table display.
Card Holder
We incorporated a lot of chalkboard signs, and then I thought a birdcage would tie in the vintage but rustic vibe we were trying to achieve.
Wedding Guestbook
We decided instead of a traditional guestbook we would have everyone sign a wooden heart. That way we could keep this jar filled with them and some of the keys on display in our home. And now whenever we want a little wedding reminder we pick a few out and read them.
